Green Clean is one of the exceptions.
The multi purpose cleaner is Belizean made and Belizean owned, manufactured at #1 Sibun Street in Belmopan and sold across the country. It comes in three scents, Lavender, Citri Boom and Green Apple.
The product is positioned as a single solution for household cleaning, covering floors, counters, bathrooms and general surfaces rather than requiring separate products for each.
Locally manufactured consumer goods face a difficult market in Belize, competing against imported brands with far larger production runs and marketing budgets. Every bottle sold from a Belizean manufacturer keeps foreign exchange in the country and supports local employment.
