Kampala Capital City Authority FC (KCCA FC) have unveiled a comprehensive “4-in-1” event structure for their 2026/27 season opener, aiming to elevate the matchday experience and deepen fan engagement at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

The fan engagement event is set to take place today, Tuesday, August, 2026.

​The event bundles four core activities into a single matchday package: the launch of the club’s official 2026/27 playing kits, unveiling the club bus ‘The Impala’, the formal presentation of the squad and new signings, the women’s team, a high-profile pre-season friendly match, and dedicated interactive entertainment for supporters.

​Club management emphasised that the initiative forms part of a broader commercial and branding push designed to maximise matchday value, strengthen partner alignment, and boost official merchandise sales ahead of the new campaign.

​”Modern football demands an integrated approach where matchday goes beyond 90 minutes of playing time,” the club noted ahead of the launch.

“This event is designed to create value for our commercial partners while giving our supporters an immersive, family-friendly kickoff to the campaign.”

After staging flashes of brilliance in the FUFA Super Cup, this occasion serves as a great stage ahead of a highly anticipated 2026/27 campaign.

The Kasasiro Boys will kick-start the Uganda Premier League campaign against NEC on Saturday at Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
