Loatinover Pounds Set to Drop “Ntshepe” Featuring MashBeatz & DJ Sliqe. The wait for Loatinover Pounds’ “Ntshepe” is officially coming to an end, with the Pretoria rapper confirming that the fan-favourite collaboration with Rush-Awa will finally receive its official release this Friday, 28 August 2026.

Taking to social media, Loatinoverpounds shared the news with fans in a post that carried the same energy as the track itself. “NTSHEPE ???????? dropping this Friday, 28.08.2026,” he wrote, tagging Rush-Awa, MashBeatz and DJ Sliqe before adding, “areyeng ke game!”

For those who have been waiting since the track first surfaced, the announcement marks the end of a months-long tease. “Ntshepe” originally appeared as the opening track on The Mxr 8, the latest instalment of DJ Sliqe and MashBeatz’s mix series.

Credited to Rush-Awa, the collaborative identity of Sliqe and MashBeatz, alongside Loatinover Pounds, the song quickly stood out among the tracks featured on the mix. Its appearance also left listeners wanting more, particularly an official release that could be streamed independently.

That release is now locked in.

The collaboration brings Pounds’ sharp Spitori-rooted lyricism together with the punchy production style of Sliqe and MashBeatz. Even from its title and Pounds’ “areyeng ke game” call, meaning roughly “let’s go, it’s game time”, the track carries the urgency and street energy that has become synonymous with the rapper’s sound.

Pounds has spent the past few years strengthening his position as one of Pretoria’s most recognisable new-generation hip-hop voices. His breakthrough came with the viral “Sosh Plata” remix, before his 2024 debut album, Pray 4 Pitori, further established his voice and creative identity.

The project placed Pretoria township culture, language and everyday experiences at the centre of his music, helping bring a distinctly Pitori perspective to a wider South African hip-hop audience. His Punyete brand and community-focused initiatives have also added another layer to his growing cultural footprint.

Now, “Ntshepe” gives him another chance to keep that momentum alive, this time alongside two of the country’s respected producers and DJs.

The track officially arrives on all major streaming platforms this Friday, 28 August.
