Nine people were taken for medical care following a two-vehicle collision on the Millennium Highway on Friday afternoon.
Saint Lucia Fire Service spokesperson Sherise John said emergency personnel responded to the accident at approximately 1:50 p.m.
One vehicle had a sole occupant who had to be extricated after the collision. He sustained minor lacerations and abrasions to his lower extremities.
Eight people were travelling in the other vehicle and sustained minor injuries about the body.
All nine were treated at the scene before being transported to a medical facility for further care.
