The Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education has appointed Vanessa Okwuraiwe to the St. Louis Community College Board of Trustees.
Okwuraiwe is a principal at Edward Jones, where she has worked since 2001. She previously served on the STLCC Foundation board from 2012 to 2023, including as board president from 2020 to 2022.
She earned an executive master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis, a master’s degree in development economics from the University of Kent in Canterbury, United Kingdom, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Edo State University in Nigeria.
Okwuraiwe also serves on the boards of Shakespeare Festival St. Louis and the Olin Business School National Advisory Council.
