A 34-year-old man currently on trial in the High Court for armed robbery has been arrested and charged in connection with a break-in at a store on lower All Saints Road.
Tristan Armstrong of Tyrells is facing fresh charges — including Breaking and Entering, Larceny, Malicious Damage, Resisting Arrest, and Escaping Lawful Custody — stemming from an incident at Turki and Son Store on lower All Saints Road.
Police responded to a report of a break-in in progress at the store on May 29th. Among the items allegedly stolen were eleven 43-inch JVC televisions, a 32-inch Royal television, 2 power drills, a vacuum cleaner, and a tool kit. All stolen items were later recovered by police.
Armstrong is no stranger to the courts. The 34-year-old is currently before the High Court facing charges of armed robbery in connection with an incident dating back to October 2021.
He is accused of robbing Bailey’s Supermarket in Falmouth of an undisclosed sum of money. The attack allegedly took place as the owner arrived at the business that morning, and during the incident gunshots were reportedly fired.
Armstrong was reportedly later found in an abandoned house in Piccadilly, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken into custody and subsequently charged.
He is now expected to appear in court to answer to the new set of charges stemming from the lower All Saints Road break-in.
