Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary pupils crowned Prince and Princess 2026

K’Jaughn Gumbs and Lynnae Brooks became Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary School’s first Prince and Princess titleholders after being crowned the 2026 winners.

The pair earned the titles following an evening of cultural performances, talent and pageantry that organisers described as “nothing short of magical”.

The Prince and Princess Show 2026 took place at Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre on 2 August, with friends, family, sponsors and supporters gathered to cheer on the contestants.

Representatives from three primary schools impressed the audience with colourful costumes, lively performances and confident public speaking throughout the evening.

In a Facebook post, the Anguilla Summer Festival team said: “From the incredible performances to the confidence and talent displayed on stage, these young stars truly wowed the audience.”

Along with the winners, the organisers also praised Jairo Reymond and Lenisha Smith from Vivien Vanterpool Primary School and Santino Turner and Ke’ijuah Isaaes from Adrian T Hazell Primary School.

“Your hard work, dedication, and outstanding performances shone brightly and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you,” they said.

A Facebook statement from the winners on 4 August thanked the individuals, businesses, sponsors, family and friends “whose support, generosity and encouragement made this journey an unforgettable one”.

“As your 2026 AARPS Prince and Princess, we are deeply honoured and grateful for the love and support we have received.

“This achievement is not ours alone; it belongs to every person who walked this journey with us.

“Thank you for believing in us, for standing with us, and for helping us shine. May God richly bless each and every one of you.”

Last year’s titles were won by Adrian T Hazell Primary School’s Keandre Proctor and Ca’Miyah Hughes.
