Angela Yee is engaged has a new title to add to her resume: fiancé!
The longtime radio personality and “Lip Service” host is officially engaged to entrepreneur Tameek “Meek” Floyd. The announcement came in true Angela Yee fashion: quietly, through social media, with a tropical getaway setting the scene.
According to Complex, Floyd shared the news following the seventh annual Angela Yee Day in Brooklyn. The entrepreneur posted a series of vacation photos featuring himself, Yee, and close friends while revealing that he had popped the question.
“Locked it in with my best friend @angelayee,” Floyd captioned the post. “As individuals we’re great, together we’re unstoppable… Love You!!”

Angela Yee Has Kept Romance Private
If there is one thing Yee has consistently protected throughout her career, it is her personal life.
The 50-year-old media personality has spent years discussing relationships, dating, and intimacy on her “Lip Service” podcast while keeping the details of her own romantic life largely away from the public.
In a 2019 interview with Essence, Yee confirmed that she was in a relationship and said she appreciated having a partner who was supportive and equally low-key.
That privacy makes this engagement feel like an especially sweet reveal.
The Grio also reported on their engagement, sharing that “he’s really supportive of everything” she does and he’s so “low key.”
Who Is Tameek “Meek” Floyd?
