The owner , Kimberly Carrillo, 32, reported that her white fiberglass skiff named “Boat Ride,” fitted with a dark-gray Yamaha E60 HMHDL two-stroke outboard engine was missing.
The boat is valued at approximately BZ$9,000.
According to Carrillo’s report, the boat had been parked on the lagoon side of Coral Brain Street in the San Thelmo area under the care of someone she knows.
However, her relative reportedly last saw the boat around midnight on Saturday, August 22.
On Sunday morning, Carrillo was informed that the Belize Coast Guard had recovered the boat floating in the lagoon at approximately 11:30 a.m.
