DELTA Police are requesting the public’s assistance for a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday in Delta.
On August 8 at approximately 5 p.m., Delta Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in the 10400-block of Ladner Trunk Road. An electric motorbike was travelling southbound on Ladner Trunk Road when it was struck by a vehicle.
The 26-year-old male driver of the electric motorbike was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Alcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision. The incident is still under investigation.
Ladner Trunk Road will be closed both southbound and northbound while the investigation is conducted. Public is encouraged to use Highway 99.
