Now in its fifth year, the Elite Business Top 100 recognises businesses that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, resilience and long-term vision. The annual ranking shines a spotlight on the entrepreneurs and organisations driving growth across the UK’s SME community.

Ahead of entries opening, Elite Business hosted a free ‘Meet the Judges’ virtual masterclass on 23rd July, giving prospective entrants the opportunity to hear directly from members of the judging panel, gain insight into the assessment process and receive practical advice on preparing a standout submission. Missed the session? You can watch the on-demand recording below.

Elite Business is also proud to welcome NatWest Accelerator as an official partner of the EB100 2027, reinforcing a shared commitment to recognising and supporting the businesses shaping the future of the UK economy.

The official Top 100 ranking will be revealed in early 2027 and published in the annual Elite Business Top 100 Guide. The year’s achievements will culminate in a prestigious awards ceremony, where the Top 100 businesses will be celebrated and additional category winners crowned.

The independent judging panel, made up of respected business leaders and industry experts, will assess entries across a range of criteria, including innovation, growth, leadership, employee wellbeing, community impact and future ambition.

Scott English, Founder of the EB100 Awards, said:

“Every year we’re blown away by the quality of businesses that enter the EB100. There are so many SMEs doing incredible things, and these awards are about giving them the recognition they deserve. Whether you’re an established business or entering for the first time, I’d encourage you to put yourself forward. We’re also delighted to welcome NatWest as an official partner and look forward to celebrating another fantastic year for UK business together.”

Darren Pirie, Head of Accelerator and Partnerships at NatWest, said:
