Police have charged 32-year-old Angus Popo of Anse Ger, Micoud, with the murder of 28-year-old Nick Daniel of La Courville, Micoud, earlier this month.
Daniel’s body was found on August 8, inside a concrete structure at Anse Ger, with apparent wounds to his face and back.
Popo was arrested at the scene and taken into police custody.
A post-mortem examination conducted on August 11 determined that Daniel died from neurovascular shock secondary to traumatic brain injury – complications related to a traumatic brain injury.
Popo was formally charged with murder on August 12.
He appeared at the Second District Court on August 13 for a bail hearing and was remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
