By Zoila Palma: Taiwan Ambassador to Belize Amino Chi met recently with Taiwanese medical students from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University—Bo Jang Chiou, Tian Qi Wang, and Yi Chan.
The medical students are conducting their clinical placement under the guidance of Antonio Coyoc, Regional Hospital Administrator of the Western Regional Hospital.
During the meeting, they shared their experiences working alongside local healthcare professionals, caring for patients, and learning from Belize’s healthcare system.
Ambassador Chi commended the students for their passion for public service and their dedication to improving the health and well-being of the Belizean people.
The Taiwan Embassy pledged to continue to promote medical cooperation with Belize and deepen bilateral partnership.
