On the latest “Belle Collective,” Latrice drops a bomb about her friendship with Lateshia during the first part of the reunion. Accusations of fake social media followers bring Belle to tears, while Shante claims to have video evidence that Tambra is lying about her relationship.
Here are the highlights for “Reunion Pt. 1: Facts, Lies and Videotape.”
Lateshia and Latrice admit they still don’t trust each other.
Lateshia says she and Latrice are in a good place because they have started listening to each other. Latrice agrees they have come a long way, but she adds, “I can’t trust Tisha at all.”
Latrice still believes Lateshia contacted her former employee, Josh. She also accuses Lateshia of reaching out to other former employees. Lateshia says she is no longer defending herself against the claim.
Selena points out that Lateshia showed her text messages between her and Josh. Based on what she saw, Selena doesn’t believe they had previous conversations. Latrice maintains that they spoke over the phone.
After Carlos brings up Josh’s claim that Latrice used him for a storyline, she denies needing him for one. Lateshia says she doesn’t trust Latrice either because Latrice believes what other people tell her instead of addressing the issue directly. Their disagreement heats up when Latrice accuses Lateshia of spreading lies.
Kerri and Marie clash over how Kerri joined the Collective.
The reunion moves forward with Latrice saying Marie revealed her true feelings when she questioned why Kerri chose Latrice for the influencer event instead of Lateshia. Marie explains that Lateshia has hosted sold-out brunches and connected with thousands of women. In her opinion, including Lateshia would have made sense.
The conversation becomes heated when Marie argues that Lateshia influenced Carlos to bring Kerri into the Collective. She tells Kerri, “You wouldn’t even be here if it wasn’t for me.” Kerri responds that she is there because of God and Lateshia.
When Carlos asks Lateshia for her perspective, she recalls speaking to Kerri after the casting call. Lateshia says she encouraged Kerri to form her own opinions about each Belle because their experiences could be different.
Kerri denies using Lateshia to join the show and says she built her own platform years ago. She also points out that Lateshia had pitched her for the show for several years. Marie and Kerri trade more insults before Carlos moves the conversation forward.
Selena confronts Kerri about posting Mike before she did.
Next, Selena admits she didn’t appreciate Kerri mentioning that rain on a wedding day could mean bad luck. She also confronts Kerri for posting Mike in his wedding attire before Selena shared a photo of him herself.
Kerri explains that she misunderstood Selena’s instructions about which wedding pictures she could post. After Selena insists she told Kerri not to share the photo, Kerri acknowledges her mistake and says she took it down.
The conversation shifts when Kerri says she wants Selena to do more with her platform. Selena explains that she stopped doing certain things after losing her son. When Carlos asks about her social media following, Selena says she has more than 160,000 followers and insists they are all real.
Carlos then asks Kerri which cast members have fake followers. Kerri says she has heard things from the other ladies and asks, “Who shot up overnight?” Marie believes Kerri is talking about her and questions why she would buy followers.
Marie explains why the social media discussion triggered her.
Backstage, Marie calls the conversation about social media followers childish. Lateshia says she didn’t know people paid attention to follower counts. Marie responds, “One thing I don’t do, I don’t fake my life.”
Kerri joins them and explains that she only intended to make a smart remark about her own followers being real. Marie says her following increased gradually over the years. She also explains that Polo repeatedly discussed her online after her cousin was murdered.
Marie says the experience took her back to a dark place. Kerri apologizes and says she would not have made the comment if she had known it would trigger Marie.
Marie’s mother comforts her and encourages her to seek help for her PTSD. Before leaving, she tells the ladies that they are beautiful women and says she doesn’t want to see them fighting.
Tambra opens up about her father’s dementia diagnosis.
Later, Tambra says her father is doing better, but he is not where she wants him to be. She confirms his dementia diagnosis is official and says she is taking everything day by day.
While discussing caring for her father and helping her mother while raising London-Symone, Tambra becomes emotional. She calls it the hardest part of her life and says, “Family is everything to me.”
Selena offers her support and recalls caring for her grandmother, who also had dementia. She tells Tambra that she understands how difficult caregiving can be.
The mood lifts when London-Symone makes a surprise appearance at the reunion with her father, Demond. Carlos welcomes her as the first “Baby Collective” and jokes about her receiving a future spinoff.
Latrice refuses to address Shante.
The focus turns to Shante when Carlos asks Latrice why she refused to address her. Shante previously confronted Latrice about her treatment of Lateshia. Latrice responds, “I don’t mess with her.” She also accuses Shante of being Lateshia’s mouthpiece.
Lateshia denies bringing Shante around to fight her battles. She says she speaks for herself and has always stood firm on the platform. “I don’t need a mouthpiece,” Lateshia adds.
Carlos then questions how Shante was considered outside noise while Amanda wasn’t. Marie says there is no difference because both women are outside noise. Lateshia acknowledges that she had a double standard.
Shante says Tambra and Latrice need to be held accountable.
Carlos asks Shante why she felt the need to defend Lateshia based on what she saw on the show. Shante says she was not causing a disruption. “I call it holding people accountable,” she explains.
When asked who needs the most accountability, Shante names Tambra and Latrice. She accuses them of having a double standard because they laughed with Amanda about Lateshia and Glen’s situation. However, Shante says the ladies had an issue when she came around and questioned them.
Shante then claims Tambra has not always been with Demond and mentions a man named Ralph, also known as Juice Man Marino. When Carlos asks Marie what she knows, Marie recalls Shante and Essie showing her a recorded conversation with the man.
According to Marie, the man claimed he and Tambra had a relationship. Tambra responds, “Business.”
Shante plays a recording as Tambra defends her family.
As the reunion nears its end, Shante plays a recorded conversation involving the man she previously mentioned. In the video, he says he figured out where the rumor came from but does not confirm having a relationship with Tambra. Carlos responds, “This doesn’t prove anything.”
Tambra explains that her attorney advised her to send Shante a cease-and-desist letter as the first step toward a lawsuit. She says Shante crossed another line by bringing London-Symone into the situation. Tambra adds that she never wants her daughter to believe she had a baby with a friend because she and Demond intentionally planned for her.
The discussion shifts when Amanda insists the direct messages involving Glen were real. Shante says Glen never tried to pursue her and claims Lateshia would have been the first person she told if he had. Amanda then accuses Lateshia of trying to silence her after the issue came up on the show.
Shante says her attorney advised her to use the word “alleged” when discussing the situation. She also claims she has four people who would testify on her behalf if Tambra takes legal action. Tambra responds by making a phone call as the episode ends on a cliffhanger.
