By Zoila Palma: Today, the Belize Police Department announced the opening of a new Teakettle Police Substation.
The substation is led by Office in Charge Sgt. Shane Casimiro and manned by 13 officers.
“This substation is critical for crime prevention and law enforcement, and is a collaboration between the BPD, the Cayo South Committee, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing and the people of Teakettle,” the Belize Police Department said.
“We are always willing and ready to assist with any project which benefits our people, and this station will serve our people well,” MIDH expressed.
