The legendary Cleveland rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony took their rightful place among Hollywood royalty on Wednesday, July 8, receiving the 2,851st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Dedicated in the category of Recording, the group’s star is located at 6126 Hollywood Boulevard.
The event, hosted by iconic radio personality Big Boy, brought together all five original members: Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone.
Fellow hip-hop pioneer Ice-T and West Coast staple Xzibit took the stage as guest speakers, alongside an appearance from Fat Joe, to praise the group’s 35-year musical career. Ice-T delivered an emotional speech emphasizing the profound significance of the moment, telling the crowd:
“Usually, you only see people like this, we only get together during bad times. Let’s just applaud the fact that all Bone Thugs are alive, healthy and here.”

Flesh-n-Bone reflected deeply on the group’s journey during his acceptance speech. “From the trenches to the stars, we’ve been through it all, through the fire and the rain,” he said. “We came from a place where opportunities were way too limited, so to be here standing with my brothers is something that I don’t take for granted.”
Arriving in Los Angeles from Cleveland in the early 1990s, the group famously tracked down N.W.A founder Eazy-E, who signed them to his Ruthless Records imprint. What followed was a complete revolution in hip-hop, as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony pioneered “melodic rap”, mixing lightning-fast, rapid-fire lyrical delivery with smooth, layered vocal harmonies.
During Wednesday’s ceremony, emotional fans paid tribute to that history by singing along to the group’s catalog and chanting the verses of the late Eazy-E. The group went on to score two Billboard 200-topping albums (E. 1999 Eternal and The Art of War) and earned a Grammy Award in 1997 for “Tha Crossroads,” their historic tribute track written after Eazy-E’s passing in 1995.
The Walk of Fame honor serves as the perfect kickoff for the group’s next chapter, as they are slated to begin a brand new concert tour on July 10.
