Castries Youth Football League concludes this weekend

Champions will be crowned this weekend in the Saint Lucia Electricity Services Ltd / Bank of Saint Lucia Castries Youth Football League, with the finalists confirmed in three of four divisions. Games will be played on Saturday and Sunday at the Sab Playing Facility in Castries.

Monchy United have reached all three finals so far. In the Under-10 division, they will play VSADC, the only Central Castries team to reach the finals. Monchy are considered the favourites, with Keyano Elibox scoring eight goals and Liam Peter adding six. For third place, Lancers FC, led by Xzavier Sammy, will take on NYAH in an all-Castries matchup.

The Under-14 final will feature a Gros Islet derby between Monchy and GMC United. Anaj Polius from Monchy is tied for the Golden Boot lead with five goals. GMC United went unbeaten during the group stage. For third place, Jayden William and NYAH FC will face Lancers.

On Sunday, Monchy United and Flames United will compete for the Under-12 title. Monchy’s Maxwell Andrew, Jason Williams, and Khayri Paul are hoping for a strong finish. Big Players will play New Generation FC for third place.

The Under-17 division will be decided after the midweek semifinals. Valley Soccer will play GMC United, and Monchy United will face Lancers FC. The winners will move on to the Championship Final on Sunday.

Monchy United and GMC United stood out during the group stage. Sheridan Sylvester from GMC and Nasri Alexander from Monchy each scored five goals to lead the charts. Valley Soccer and Lancers FC will be looking to cause an upset and reach the final.
