Dame Dash Talks Big Trash About Jay-Z, But Does He Have A Point…?

Damon “Dame” Dash is still bumping his gums and speaking his peace about his issues with certain people. This time around, his relationship with Jay-Z is at the center of everything — but Dame might actually be on to something with this one…

As you already know, Dame has been airing out his problems with people, most recently rapper Cam’ron and Charlamagne tha God. While he’s done a bit of an about face regarding his rocky relationship with Cam’ron, he’s lowkey trying to take things up a notch when it comes to his problems with Charlamagne and “The Breakfast Club,” as evidenced by his latest legal move.

In a new interview with “Cam Capone News,” Dame is roping Jay-Z into his latest drama. Specifically, Dame spoke out on his feelings that the “4:44” rapper doesn’t support or look out for the artists that he’s helped over the years.

“Homeboy is cold. He doesn’t look out for nobody,” Dame said.

He mentions rapper Memphis Bleek who recently spoke on Jay’s support as well during his own appearance on the “Drink Champs” podcast.

“Bleek is still so loyal ’cause he understands he still gets a lot of opportunities from him. He just not going to enable him. So, I respect that. But, you know, for me, he also said something like […] he said some slick shit about me, but I didn’t be offended,” Dame explained. “His perspective is different from mine. No man’s hand is feeding me. I’m not biting or putting no fingers in my mouth. Pause. I’m the man whose hand they bite.”

What Dame says about Hov is a sentiment that’s been going around in the streets for years. From artists like Nicki Minaj and 50 Cent, there’s been longstanding chatter about how the “Imaginary Playerz” rapper routinely looks out for his best interest and doesn’t put as much effort into helping others.

In July, Minaj went on a whole radio tirade alleging that Jay “exhibited signs of envy, jealousy, hate, and stopping bags behind the scenes, allegedly.” While 50 and Jay-Z have come to be respectable towards each other nowadays, the “Power” producer made it clear that they aren’t friends and they only use each other for business purposes.

“Me and Jay will use each other. We don’t have those kinds of relationships,
50 told MTV UK over a decade ago. “We are in the same business. We are not necessarily friends. We don’t call each other for no reason.”

50 also previously alleged that Jay has his “own best interest in mind” and alleged Hov had “a king complex.”

With Jay-Z’s billionaire status, it’s valid to be curious as to how he’s been able to amass so much success and accolades while others in his orbit have barely scratched the surface. And while sure, Dame has spewed his fair share of falsities over the years, he just might have a point in what he’s saying this time.

Later, Dame addressed people online who’ve been allegedly questioning why Jay-Z doesn’t reach out his hand to help him financially, saying that he doesn’t mind the chatter because he essentially wants people to underestimate him.

“Everybody likes to talk about me. I really don’t mind. And I’m flattered. As long as I’m in the algorithm, I’m good. Cause you know, again, I want people to think I’m weak. I really do,” he said.
