The Loughborough Junction Action Group have been in touch with Brixton Buzz to tell us about the relaunch of the free 13+ club at the at the Grove Adventure Playground.
They said:
We’re really pleased to have restarted our free 13+ club for young people aged 13-18, thanks to the Childhood Trust’s Champions for Children fundraiser last year.
Running on Mondays from 4:30 to 6:30pm during term time, this session offers a safe, welcoming space for young people to relax, socialise and take part in a range of activities.
From fitness and cooking to creative projects and digital skills, there’s plenty to get involved in.
We also offer support with CV writing, employability and confidence-building, helping young people take positive steps towards their future.
Looking ahead, we’re hoping to organise more trips and residentials, giving young people the chance to build independence, learn practical skills like budgeting and cooking, and have fun along the way.
