Nadia On Telling Toss He Is Her Fav Person First Day Meeting. Nadia Nakai said Toss won her over from their very first meeting, with the rapper revealing that his calm presence, genuine spirit and grounded personality immediately stood out to her.

Speaking to SA Hip Hop Mag, Nadia Nakai reflected on her first encounter with Toss and explained why she quickly described him as her “favourite person.”

“I think it’s energy, because obviously I didn’t know him that well the first time I met him. It was our first encounter, but his spirit, like the aura that he gives, it’s just, it’s calming. It feels safe. It feels genuine, you know?” she said.

Nadia already knew Toss as a major name in South African music, but meeting him in person gave her a different perspective on the star behind the music. She said his confidence never came across as arrogance, despite being fully aware of his position and influence.

“When I met him, I already saw him as this, like, superstar, but he never made me feel like he was, like, so caught up in the source of who he is,” she explained.

According to Nadia Nakai, Toss understands the impact he has on the music scene without allowing his status to make others feel insignificant.

“And I feel like he’s 100% aware of who he is and the impact he has on the game, but he doesn’t make people feel smaller around him, you know? And I really, like, like that,” she added.

That balance between confidence and humility ultimately shaped Bragga’s view of Toss, with the rapper saying their shared energy was what made the connection stand out. “So I was like, he’s my favourite person. It’s just both energies,” Nadia said.
