Rapper Offset is in stable condition after being shot Monday night outside the
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, according to police
and his spokesperson.
Seminole Police said one person suffered non‑life‑threatening injuries in the
valet area and was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital. They did not identify the
victim, but Offset’s team confirmed to USA Today that the 34‑year‑old artist —
born Kiari Kendrell Cephus — was the one injured and is “being closely
monitored” while receiving medical care.
Authorities detained two people at the scene.
The shooting comes a little more than three years after Offset’s cousin and fellow
Migos member Takeoff was fatally shot at a Houston bowling alley.
