Airtel Africa Foundation is partnering with Zoom and Sibia Technologies through Airtel Tanzania to explore digital healthcare solutions in Tanzania. The initiative focuses on virtual consultations, patient engagement and improved communication between patients and healthcare providers.
The partnership forms part of the Foundation’s expansion into new African markets in 2026, as it seeks to use connectivity and technology to improve access to essential services. The proposed solutions are expected to provide patients with additional ways to access healthcare while enabling doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to communicate and collaborate more effectively.
