Apple Expands iCloud+ in Kenya With Apple TV and Apple Arcade

Apple  is expanding the benefits of its iCloud+ subscription in Kenya, giving subscribers access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost as part of the updated subscription. The rollout, starting this month, also introduces Apple TV to users in Kenya for the first time.

The expanded iCloud+ offering allows subscribers to continue using iCloud to back up, store and share personal content across Apple devices while gaining access to Apple’s entertainment services. Through Family Sharing, an iCloud+ subscription can also be shared with up to five family members.

Apple TV will provide Kenyan iCloud+ subscribers with access to the company’s original drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries and children’s programming. The catalogue includes titles such as Ted Lasso, The Studio, Severance, Pluribus and the Academy Award-winning film CODA. Apple said its original films, documentaries and series have received more than 900 wins and over 3,800 award nominations.

Subscribers will also receive access to Apple Arcade, Apple’s gaming subscription service with a catalogue of more than 200 games. The offering includes titles such as Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Sneaky Sasquatch. Apple Arcade games are available without advertisements or in-app purchases and can be played offline on supported Apple devices.

The iCloud+ package in Kenya will additionally include Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free stations featuring regionally relevant music alongside stations covering categories such as Top Songs, the 1980s and the 1990s. Subscribers who want the full Apple Music experience can also sign up for an Individual or Family plan at discounted monthly prices of $2.79 and $4.49 respectively.

Beyond entertainment services, iCloud+ subscribers will retain access to additional cloud storage and premium features, including event creation through the Apple Invites app and enhanced privacy capabilities.

Apple said the expanded iCloud+ offering will roll out across more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September. In Kenya, iCloud+ subscriptions will start at $0.99 per month for the 50GB plan, with additional storage tiers available.

Following the rollout, Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be offered as standalone subscriptions in Kenya. Existing subscribers to either service will continue to have access through their iCloud+ subscription, while their individual subscriptions will be cancelled. Apple said Apple Arcade game progress and saved data will be preserved.
