Sterling Haynes earned his masters degree in Information Technology and bachelors degree in Media Journalism. The Black history column is to honor the contributions of Africans, African Americans, and those who support the cause. He teaches undergraduate computer networking and cybersecurity at various universities across the United States. He is also a award winning cartoonist and member of the National Cartoonist Society.
