The Arthritis Foundation will hold its annual Walk to Cure Arthritis on May 16, with an event scheduled in the St. Louis area as part of a nationwide effort.
The local walk begins at 9 a.m. at Logan University in Chesterfield. Activities include a pre-walk warm-up, children’s activities, wellness-focused programming and an area for dog activities.
The event aims to raise awareness and funds for arthritis research, advocacy and support services.
Organizers say arthritis affects more than 60 million Americans, including about 300,000 children.
