Byekwaso, Ntale headed for Express FC?

Following the appointment of Cynthia Becky Kimera as Express FC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), more changes in personnel could be boiling at the club.

According to reliable sources, Morley Byekwaso is set to take over as the new head coach, replacing Jimmy Kintu who left for URA.

Byekwaso, a former midfielder with the Red Eagles has been out coaching since partying company with record champions SC Villa at the end of the 2024/25 season.

The now Nakivubo based side were also courting Sam Ssimbwa and David Obua but Byekwaso seems the front runner at the moment.

Meanwhile, Hajji Adam Golooba Ntale could also join the club as the team manager, Kawowo Sports understands.

Ntale is a known football philanthropist who previously was manager of Butambala Ssaza in the Masaza Cup and as recent as last season was rumored to be interested in taking over as Express FC chairman.

In case all materializes, Ntale will replace Wilfred Mudanya who worked as interim manager replacing long serving Abdu Kinobe who passed away in June 2021.

Express are on revival mission with big wigs expected to return to finance the club including Godfrey Kirumira, their former chairman.
