Maputo (MOZTIMES) – Mozambican President Daniel Chapo on Friday granted an audience in Maputo to the recently appointed general director in Mozambique of the US oil and gas giant ExxonMobil, Joanna Boothey.
Boothey told the President of the advances made in the Rovuma LNG project, in the Rovuma Basin, in the northern province of Cabo Delgado. Rovuma LNG is operated by a consortium led by ExxonMobil, which is expected to take its Final Investment Decision (FID) on the project later this year.
