Comment on “Splinters Salon? It was like the MOTOWN of Afro hair”: Derek DeCutter by Christine Downing
Came across this by chance... I remember when Splinters first opened ... I was and am regular person but felt special when when I went to the salon... during the 70 - 80's ... When Winston was there he would always welcome me as if I was his best friend and he would always give me suggestion how to have me hair.... I am now in my 70's and live on Vancouver island, BC Canada ... Wonderful to see that Splinters continues on.... Please never forget the regular people...
