Davido Electrifies Coachella 2026 with Afrobeats Hits

Nigerian superstar Davido made a powerful statement at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, April 11, delivering a high-energy 45-minute set packed with 16 tracks that had the Gobi Stage tent overflowing with fans chanting every word.

Making his Coachella debut as the sole Nigerian artist on the lineup, Davido blended timeless Afrobeats anthems with fresh material from his latest album 5IVE. The set kicked off with early career hits like “Skelewu” and “If”, before diving into crowd favorites such as”Fire“, “Fall”, and “Gobe”, which saw the audience singing along word-for-word in a massive display of cultural pride and global appeal.

The 001 Entertainment boss kept the energy soaring with newer cuts including “UNAVAILABLE” and “FEEL.” He delivered one of the night’s biggest surprises by bringing out fellow Nigerian star Adekunle Gold for their collaborative hit “HIGH,” sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Davido closed his set on a memorable note with “With You,” preceded by a dramatic intro sampling Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” As the performance reached its peak, the “Fall” hitmaker proudly waved the Nigerian flag, symbolizing African excellence on one of the world’s biggest stages alongside major headliners like Justin Bieber.

This performance marks Davido’s first appearance at Coachella. He is scheduled to return for Weekend 2 on April 18, giving more fans the chance to experience the 5IVE Alive Tour energy live in Indio.
