Flash floods in China’s north-western Gansu province have killed 25 people and injured 23 others, following torrential rain.
Initial reports had put the death toll at ten. Authorities have ordered disaster assessments and warned of further landslides as heavy rain continues.
Thousands have also been evacuated in Sichuan, where widespread flooding has displaced hundreds of thousands of residents.
