The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) , under Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) , has signed a cooperation protocol with Al-Riyada University for Science and Technology to strengthen students’ digital skills and prepare them for future employment.
The agreement, signed in Cairo on 21 September 2026, aims to provide students and graduates with training in NTI’s advanced technology programmes and develop skills aligned with labour market requirements.
The partnership will also seek to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in scientific research and innovation, alongside efforts to better connect higher education outcomes with the needs of Egypt’s technology sector.
The protocol was signed by Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of Al-Riyada University for Science and Technology and former Minister of Education, and Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Telecommunication Institute.
The signing ceremony was held at NTI’s headquarters in Smart Village and was attended by representatives from both the institute and the university.
