President John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghana’s diaspora to move beyond remittances and become investors in the country’s economic transformation.
He said while the country deeply valued the contributions of its diasporan community through their remittances, it was important for the diaspora to turn its focus to productive investments that created wealth and supported national development.
President Mahama made the call at a town hall meeting with the Ghanaian community on the sidelines of the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations in New York, USA, last Friday. Read More
