Lugazi has completed the signing of creative midfielder Christopher Birungi on a four-year deal from Buganda Regional League outfit, Nyendo FC.
The club confirmed the arrival of Birungi on Sunday, becoming their third signing of the transfer window, joining Louis Anguti Amagu and Jamaldin Buchochera.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Christopher Birungi from Nyendo FC. Birungi has signed a four-year contract with the club and will officially join up with his new team-mates on Sunday.” The club stated.
Birungi has largely played in the lower divisions for several clubs including Kasese New Villa, Ntonda, Nyamityobora and Buwambo United.
The club has also offered a one-year contract extension to long-serving midfielder Moses Buga. He has been with the club since 2020.
