Due to overwhelming public response, The Africa Centre is delighted to announce that our landmark 60th anniversary exhibition has been extended until Sunday, 14 June 2026. If you haven't yet had the chance to visit or if you'd like to return, there is now more time to experience this celebration of six decades of African presence, creativity and cultural influence in Britain. About the Exhibition To mark our 60th anniversary, The Africa Centre presents a landmark exhibition celebrating six decades of African presence, creativity and cultural influence in Britain. Curated by Leon Robinson (Positive Steps Associates), the exhibition draws on The Africa Centre's extensive archives of photographs, documents, posters and ephemera dating back to the late 1950s. Blending historical material with immersive audio-visual, AR and VR technologies, the exhibition explores the Centre's pioneering role in shaping narratives of identity, entrepreneurship, innovation, and global connection. ...
