“It was my first time at Paris Fashion Week,” Porsha Williams told me, still glowing from the experience. “How insane is that?”

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star had a big fashion month. And now, fresh off sitting front row at Schiaparelli, she landed in New York City to celebrate her new partnership with Charmin as the face of its new Ultra Strong with Wider Sheets.

Her Paris story was just one of the gems from our exclusive conversation. Porsha also opened up about serving with Law Roach, what “RHOA” taught her, how she handles mommy guilt, and why she’s a self-proclaimed toilet paper snob. This was our second sit-down, and the conversation seemed to have picked up right where we left off.

Porsha Williams Snuck Off From “RHOA” Filming For Her First Paris Fashion Week

Last month Porsha made headlines when she, Law Roach and rapper JT were photographed walking into the Schiaparelli show in Paris. The trio took over timelines, with fans gushing over Porsha’s look, the shade she and Law could throw together and how good they all looked together.

The invite came straight from Law. “I got the call from Law Roach that Schiaparelli had contacted him and wanted me to come sit front row. I was like, wait, what is happening?”

With “RHOA” in the middle of filming, Porsha had to get a little sneaky.

“I was filming because we’re in the middle of Housewives. So, honey, I snuck off. Honey, did a little tiptoe one two. So I took like three days, got there, did the show, did a little Birkin shopping. But when I tell you, when I got there, it was just an amazing experience. I went straight to the Schiaparelli showroom. They dressed me. They said they had seen me, and Schiaparelli had to tell, and they were like, ‘Oh, that’s our girl.’”

Surrounded by the house’s signature jewelry, Porsha took it all in. “And just standing there and just seeing all of the Schiaparelli jewelry everywhere, it was just like it was insane. It was like a dream.”

Once the show began, she gave her flowers to the team, to Law and to Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry.

“VIP all the way. I mean, they’re so sweet. And Law Roach, I mean, the king of fashion himself. I say, the most powerful fashion guy in fashion per se. When we went to the show, I mean, everybody was in looks head to toe. I mean, stunning looks. Sitting, seeing those looks up front, it was just insanity. It was just like so whimsical. I mean, like the imagination of Daniel, to witness it in person was just magical. It really was.”

Schiaparelli dressed Porsha in a blue-gray fur coat with dramatic oversized sleeves, a sharp navy collar and a cinched waist that dipped into a plunging neckline. The house paired it with a glossy croc-embossed pencil skirt that hugged her curves, navy pointed pumps and a black bag dangling a gold key charm. Porsha finished the look with sculptural gold drop earrings and sleek, middle-parted hair.

She served the girls, ready for her debut Paris front-row moment.

Porsha Williams And Law Roach Are The Duo We Didn’t Know We Needed

When I told Porsha the girls were calling her and Law the duo we didn’t know we needed, she lit up. For her, Paris was a long time coming.

“It was a good full circle moment because when I had first met Law, we said we gotta do something together. I had gone to his birthday party, and you know when this came around, it was just perfect. I love him.”

As for those matching bussdowns? “We shook it up. And the hair was swinging, okay, the buss downs were bussing.”

Between Law’s reads and Porsha’s one-liners, fans also expected some world-class shade. “I mean, you know, it’s Law. I think he speaks in shade. That’s his actual language,” the Atlanta Peach joked.

Don’t count her out, though. “Well, I’ve been in class, honey. I’m from Housewives. I’ve been on Housewives for 10 plus years, honey. Work with the best of the best of them.”

Since joining “RHOA” in Season 5, Porsha has grown up in front of us. Along the way, she says, she found her power, and her bag.

“I would say since season five I’ve learned the power that I hold. Just owning and honing in on who I am and loving who I am.” She continued, “Becoming a businesswoman with both of my brands, GoNaked Hair and Pampered by Porsha are companies who are close to my heart, and any company that I partner with is also another brand that is true to me.”

Porsha Williams Gets Real About Self-Care And Mommy Guilt

As a mom and an entrepreneur, Porsha knows the juggle so many of us live every day. Her answer? Putting herself first, every single time.

“I’m big on self care. When it comes to me, I’m gonna prioritize Porsha because if I’m in a good place mentally, spiritually, and I feel whole, then I can go accomplish the day, and I can pour into other people. I’m a much better mommy.”

Her words on mommy guilt hit home. “I remember I saw this quote, and it was saying like the best moms are happy moms. So often mommies, we’re like hard on ourselves because we have to do so much. You get mommy guilt, etc. But honestly, if you just can concentrate on carving out some time for you and take care of you and your happiness, then you give that to your children.”

Protecting her peace also means guarding her energy. “I’m a loner anyway, so best believe when I come around people, I’ve already checked my energy at the door. Like I’m already going to make sure I’m in the mood for people to be around people. I hardly ever put myself in those situations.”

Well, almost never. “Unless it’s housewives, because then you’ve got to go to work regardless,” she joked.

Porsha Williams Says Her “Base Level Is Someone Else’s High Standard.” Charmin Agrees

When it comes to standards, Porsha sets her own. “I’ve always had high standards. I have to say. I mean, you know, my base level is someone else’s high standard. You know what I’m saying? No, like really, like I just always feel like I begin from a place of greatness and then take it to the next level.”

That includes her bathroom. We caught up at Charmin’s installation in New York City, where fans could touch and feel the new wider sheets, spin a larger-than-life toilet paper roll and snap photos with Porsha and the red Charmin bear.

“I’m a snob when it comes to my tissue,” she admitted. “Like my standards are high. Like you’re not going to come over there and find the basics in my bathrooms.”

Porsha was a Charmin girl long before the partnership. “Like when it comes to Charmin, Charmin Ultra [Strong] has changed the game, and then Charmin itself is a brand I’ve used forever.”

Before I could ask my next question, Porsha flipped it on me. “Let me ask you this: When you go to somebody’s guest bathroom and they have that basic tissue, don’t you judge them just a little bit?”

I pleaded the fifth, since we were on camera. Porsha, however, made her case for the wider sheets. “See, here’s the thing: with Charmin Ultra [Strong] with the wider sheets, you use less, and it’s more coverage, so it’s cleaning you better. Charmin raises the standard.”

With Friendsgiving season around the corner, she even had advice for the girls heading to someone else’s house. “Put your roll in your purse,” she said. “Bring your own roll.”
