President Vučić welcomes Tanzanian envoy,Mbarouk to Serbia

BELGRADE: TANZANIA’S Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, resident in Rome, Italy, Mbarouk Nassor Mbarouk, has presented his credentials to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, reaffirming Tanzania’s commitment to maintaining friendly relations and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

 The diplomatic ceremony was held at the Presidential Palace in Belgrade, where Ambassador Mbarouk conveyed greetings from Tanzania’s President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to President Vučić, the Government and people of Serbia.

Outlining the priorities of his diplomatic mission, Ambassador Mbarouk said Tanzania seeks to strengthen cooperation with Serbia in the political, economic, social and cultural spheres.

He identified trade, agriculture, investment and education as among the key sectors that will receive priority. He said he would work closely with the Serbian Government and various stakeholders to expand bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the people of both countries.

For his part, President Aleksandar Vučić congratulated Ambassador Mbarouk on his appointment and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic responsibilities in Serbia.

President Vučić also pledged to provide Ambassador Mbarouk with the necessary cooperation throughout his tenure, in a move aimed at further developing and strengthening relations between Tanzania and Serbia.
