Rezlife Saints have suffered just two defeats thus far in the 2026 National Basketball League. However, the two losses have come against some of the division’s top opposition in Sommet and defending champions Nam Blazers.
The Saints (7-2) are back in action tonight against another top side in the City Oilers, who are yet to see defeat this season and are dominating every game.
The Oilers (9-0) are fully loaded inside out. Joel Lukoji and Fayed Baale have quickly formed a very challenging back-court pair to guard.
Baale is excelling off the ball with a difficult-to-track pattern that gets him open outside shots that he incorporates with his on-ball abilities to create for teammates or his own shots. Lukoji, on the other hand, is a menace on the defensive side of the ball and on the offensive end, can create and get to the basket at will with pace.
That is the kind of assignment Kevin Moru and Edrine Ekau, as well as Mike Otieno (if available) will have on their hands all night, with help from Elvis Ssentongo and Hon Kwany, who may be forced to switch severally.
In the front court, Landry Ndikuma is a proven, skilled big man who can sag and shoot from outside, as does Titus Lual, while Joel Kayiira provides the steely presence. Edgar Munaba is a strong driver of the basketball but can chip in with outside shooting.
Rezlife’s Duot Ajang, Tueny Mabor, and Fadul Suka will have more battles defensively than the resistance they will offer in the opposite lane
