Rosefest, the trailblazing music festival founded by acclaimed singer and songwriter Shekhinah, is set to return in 2026 with its most ambitious edition yet. Following the overwhelming success of previous years, the festival will double in size and move to the scenic Casalinga in Muildersdrift, promising an unforgettable full-day celebration of music, culture, and female artistry.
Since its inception in 2019, Rosefest has established itself as a unique platform dedicated to showcasing women in music. The 2025 edition marked a major milestone, drawing 3,500 attendees to the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens for a vibrant, family-friendly experience. Guests enjoyed a dynamic, all-female lineup in a picturesque outdoor setting, solidifying the festival’s reputation as a standout event on South Africa’s cultural calendar.
Building on this momentum, Rosefest 2026 will expand its footprint at Casalinga, offering fans an even more immersive experience. Attendees can once again expect a carefully curated all-female lineup, featuring some of the most exciting and influential voices in the industry. The festival will continue its mission of celebrating women in music while creating a joyful and inclusive space for audiences of all ages.
“Rosefest has always been about creating space for women to shine and for audiences to experience something meaningful and uplifting,” says Shekhinah. “With the 2026 edition, we’re taking everything to the next level—bigger stage, bigger audience, and even more incredible talent.”
Rosefest 2026 promises a full day of live performances, community, and celebration in a beautiful natural setting. More details, including artist announcements and ticket information, will be released in the coming months.
