What started as a reflection on a love that didn’t work out has become Tallrickyworldwide’s latest musical offering. Nganeno, featuring Lowfeye and Orchid MusiQ, is a heartfelt Afro-Pop collaboration born from a viral snippet and transformed into a story about love, distance, longing and hope.
Born in Queenstown, Eastern Cape and raised in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, Tallrickyworldwide (Lonwabo Ricardo Kopman) is a rising Xhosa rap star known for his signature Loxion Hype sound. His single “Chom” featuring Inkosi Yama Ndebele has surpassed 2 million streams across DSPs, while his involvement in Cape Town collective MAKE BOYZ has established him as part of the city’s vibrant youth and viral culture.
