Yas Comores Supports Rural Financial Inclusion Through Dima Na Ulozi Project

Yas Comores  has reaffirmed its support for rural financial and digital inclusion in the Comoros through its sponsorship of the Dima Na Ulozi project, an initiative led by the Maesha Espoir association and the Chamber of Agriculture.

The latest development follows the signing of a sponsorship agreement on 29 October 2026, during which Daniel Bandari, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Handicrafts of the Union of the Comoros, expressed institutional support for the project. His support is expected to facilitate the initiative’s engagement with relevant agricultural sector stakeholders and public services.

The project has attracted more than 2,100 members and mobilised over KMF10 million in savings. Through the involvement of Yas Comores, MVOLA COMORES and Telco Finance, under the AXIAN Group, beneficiaries can access financial and digital services directly through their mobile phones.

Activities held over two days in Anjouan also attracted nearly 300 new members, highlighting local interest in the initiative and its potential to expand access to financial services in rural communities.

Supported by the French Embassy in the Union of the Comoros, Dima Na Ulozi brings together public, private and community partners to promote financial inclusion and create economic opportunities for rural populations.

Yas Comores said it was proud to support the initiative as part of its commitment to strengthening digital and financial inclusion across the country.
