By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 25-year-old Belize City man has been charged with possession of a utensil after police say they found a small metal pipe during a search on Orange Street.
Police say officers were conducting cycle patrol at around 5:20 p.m. on September 11 when they stopped Brian Adam Fuentes and informed him that he would be searched for drugs and firearms.
During the search, police allegedly found a silver-coloured metal pipe with a blue plastic tip concealed at the front of his pants.
The object was taken as evidence and later measured at approximately 2½ inches long.
Fuentes was taken to the Raccoon Street Police Station and was subsequently formally arrested and charged with possession of a utensil.
Police say he chose to remain silent when cautioned on the charge.
