CAPS United coach Takesure Chiragwi has struck a surprisingly optimistic tone following his side’s latest defeat, insisting the result could serve as a turning point for improvement.
Speaking after the match, Chiragwi said the loss had exposed key areas that need attention, giving his technical team a clearer roadmap moving forward.
“It’s good we lost, this will help us to go back to the drawing board and work on our mistakes,” said Chiragwi.
“The boys did well, we dominated it, it’s just unfortunate we failed to score.”
Despite the disappointment of dropping points, the CAPS United maintained pole position on top of the log with 22 points, one ahead of second placed Hardrock FC who thrashed FC Hunters 6-1.
The result adds pressure on the Harare giants, who face old rivals Dynamos next Sunday at the same venue.
Saturday’s defeat to Bulawayo Chiefs saw CAPS United recording its second defeat of the season, the first one came last month against Ngezi Platinum Stars at Baobab Stadium at Ngezi.
