*“Dirty Diapers” may have a humorous name, but the dish has become a go-to crowd-pleaser for casual gatherings. Designed to resemble mini diapers, these bite-sized snacks are often served at baby showers, game-day parties, or relaxed get-togethers where playful presentation meets comfort food flavors.
The savory version leans into familiar ingredients, combining the taste of mini cheeseburgers with flaky crescent roll dough. Each piece is filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and a slice of pickle, creating a compact appetizer that’s easy to serve and even easier to eat.
These bite-sized treats are perfect for baby showers or casual get-togethers. The simple preparation and recognizable ingredients make them a reliable addition to any party spread.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 slices Cheddar cheese
- 32 slices dill pickle
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring to crumble, until no longer pink. Add onion to the skillet; cook and stir until tender. Drain off grease.
- Unroll crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate triangles and then cut each triangle in half diagonally to make smaller triangles.
- Stack slices of cheese and cut diagonally into smaller triangles. Place one piece of cheese onto each piece of dough.
- Spoon about a tablespoon of the cooked ground beef mixture over the cheese, then add a slice of pickle on top.
- Fold the dough points toward the center to form a diaper-like shape and place each piece on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
