Dr. King’s Book ‘Chaos Or Community’ To Be Discussed Tonight In Newark

Photos: Wikimedia Commons A special program to discuss “Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community” written by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will take place tonight.  It will be held Wednesday, March 11th, 7:00pm at St James AME Church, 588 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Newark, New Jersey. The guest presenter will be Lawrence Hamm, Chairman, People’s Organization For Progress. The event is sponsored by St James AME Church.  Tonight’s program is the second of a three part series which began last week. Part three will take place next Wednesday, March 18th at the church. The book has six chapters. The first three chapters will be discussed at tonight’s session. The last three will be discussed next week during the third and final meeting.  “It was an honor for me to have been asked to participate in this program. This book is one of Dr King’s most important works,” Hamm said.  “Although it was written 60 years ago, it is still relevant to the turbulent times in which we live today.
