Uganda U-17 Women’s National Team (Teen Cranes) head coach Sheryl Ulanda Botes has named the final travelling squad for the African Qualifiers of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2026 against Zimbabwe.

The first leg is scheduled for Sunday, 12th April 2026, at Ngoni Stadium in Harare, with kick-off set for 3:00 PM local time / 4:00 PM East Africa Time (EAT).

The Teen Cranes concluded their final training session today at the FUFA Stadium, Kadiba, ahead of departure to Harare on Friday morning. The travelling delegation is headed by FUFA Executive Committee Member Madam Agnes Mugena.

Coach Botes expressed confidence in her squad following 11 days of intensive preparations at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

‘The camp has allowed us to put together a strong and well-prepared team. The girls are ready to compete against Zimbabwe. I have observed their performances in the COSAFA Cup and know they are a strong side, but our focus is on achieving a positive result away from home,’ said Coach Botes.
