A large number of devotees and VIPs attended the Sunday (July 27) groundbreaking ceremony for Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha (Vancouver) gurdwara at 7271 Gilley Avenue in Burnaby. Among those in attendance were federal NDP Leader Don Davies (MP for Vancouver Kingsway), Randeep Sarai (Secretary of State for International Development and MP for Surrey Centre), Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley, and Burnaby Councillors including Sav Dhaliwal.
