Jamaica to sign agreement with United Kingdom on post Melissa reconstruction programmes
KINGSTON, Jamaica, Oct 28, CMC - Prime Minister Andrew Holness says Jamaica will sign an agreement with the United Kingdom (UK) for technical experts to support the country’s post-Hurricane Melissa reconstruction efforts.

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Oct 28, CMC – Prime Minister Andrew Holness says Jamaica will sign an agreement with the United Kingdom (UK) for technical experts to support the country’s post-Hurricane Melissa reconstruction efforts. Hurricane Melissa had caused damage estimated at more than US$9.9 billion when it slammed into Jamaica on October 28, last year. It is also blamed for the 45 deaths.
