WHAT: Milwaukee is home to one of the oldest and longest running Juneteenth Day celebrations in the nation, and to commemorate the upcoming holiday, City of Milwaukee officials will join together to raise the Juneteenth flag above the City Hall complex. The Juneteenth flag has flown over the City Hall complex the week of Juneteenth annually since 2020. The flag raising will include a short ceremony set to take place on Thursday, June 18 at 8:30 a.m.
