In a world where success is often defined by titles, accolades, and outward achievement, many high-performing professionals are beginning to ask a deeper question: is it truly enough? For this accomplished attorney, author, and visionary, the answer emerged not in a single defining moment, but through a quiet realization that something was missing beneath the surface of success. What followed was a powerful shift from achievement to alignment, leading her to redefine what it means to truly live well. Through her philosophy of Living Life on FIRE, she now guides others in creating lives rooted in faith, intention, resilience, and elevation—where success and fulfillment are no longer at odds, but exist together by design.
What was the moment or realization that made you question whether traditional success was enough?
For me, it wasn’t one dramatic moment—it was a quiet, persistent whisper that grew louder over time. On paper, I had everything I had worked for: an award-winning law firm, a thriving publishing company, accolades, recognition. I had checked all the boxes that society defines as success. But internally, I felt a disconnect. I was achieving, but I wasn’t fully experiencing my life.
The turning point came when my health forced me to slow down. I had to confront a powerful truth: success that costs you your peace, your body, or your joy isn’t success—it’s sacrifice dressed up as achievement. That realization shifted everything. I began to ask myself not just “What am I building?” but “How am I living while I build it?” That question became the doorway to a more aligned, fulfilling way of life.

How do you define “Living Life on FIRE,” and what does it look like for high-achieving professionals?
Living Life on FIRE is about alignment, not exhaustion.
FIRE stands for living with Faith, Intention, Resilience, and Elevation. It’s the difference between constantly performing and consciously creating. For high-achieving professionals, it doesn’t mean doing more—it means doing what matters most, in a way that honors your well-being. It looks like setting boundaries without guilt, making decisions from clarity instead of pressure, and allowing success to feel as good as it looks. It’s waking up and recognizing that your life is not something you survive—it’s something you design.
What misconceptions about happiness and fulfillment does your 5-Step Formula address?
One of the biggest misconceptions is that happiness is something you earn after you achieve enough. My 5-Step Formula challenges the idea that fulfillment lives at the finish line. It teaches that fulfillment is a daily practice, not a distant reward. Another misconception is that success and peace are mutually exclusive—that you have to choose between ambition and well-being. That’s simply not true.
The framework helps people unlearn the belief that burnout is the price of greatness. Instead, it shows them how to build a life where success, joy, and peace coexist—and actually reinforce each other.

How is the “Great Resignation” reshaping how people approach success?
The “Great Resignation” is really a Great Reclamation.
People are reclaiming their time, their energy, and their definition of success.
We’re seeing a shift from external validation to internal alignment. Professionals and entrepreneurs are asking deeper questions: Does this work reflect who I am? Does it support the life I actually want to live?
This shift is powerful because it’s forcing organizations and individuals alike to prioritize humanity alongside productivity.I believe we’re moving into an era where success is no longer measured solely by titles and income, but by freedom, flexibility, and fulfillment. And those who embrace that shift will not only thrive—they’ll lead.
What practices help you stay grounded in peace and joy?
I’m very intentional about creating space to hear myself.
That includes daily spiritual grounding through prayer, reflection, and simply sitting in stillness. I also practice honoring my boundaries—protecting my time and energy as carefully as I would any major asset.
Equally important is joy. I’ve learned that joy is not a reward for hard work—it’s fuel for it. So I prioritize experiences that make me feel alive, connected, and present. And finally, I check in with myself regularly. Not “What do I need to accomplish next?” but “How do I want to feel, and what supports that?” That question keeps me aligned no matter how many hats I’m wearing.
How can readers connect or work with you in 2026?
In 2026, I’m expanding my work through Light Legacy Stewardship
, where I help individuals and families align their legal, financial, and spiritual legacies. Readers can work with me through estate planning services at LMB Law Offices, transformational retreats and coaching experiences, and speaking engagements focused on leadership, legacy, and living fully aligned.
I also offer tools like journals, guided experiences, and workshops designed to help people move from overwhelm to intentional living. The best way to connect is through my website and social platforms, where I share resources, upcoming events, and opportunities to work together.
