On Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. the West North Avenue Development Authority (WNADA) will host “Love the Avenue Day,” a community-led initiative focused on clean-up, beautification, and activation of the corridor.
This event will highlight:
- Community-driven revitalization efforts along West North Avenue
- A public art activation, with volunteers painting boards for vacant properties
- Collaboration with Coppin State University and MICA students supporting on-site engagement
- A resident-led process to shape a future outdoor art exhibition reflecting West Baltimore’s history and culture
The event will take place on the 2800–2900 blocks of West North Avenue, with volunteer check-in at: 2860 W. North Ave., Baltimore, Md.
“Love the Avenue Day is about turning community pride into visible action,” said WNADA Executive Director Chad Williams.
